OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Our own Supergirl, Miss Tracey has assembled a super collection of Superman related graphic novels downstairs in the Young Adult section! Readers may find Superman stories from the Golden Age (1930-1950), the Silver Age (1956-1986), and the Bronze Age (1986-+) as well as stories that feature him with his allies Batman, Supergirl, and the Justice League of America! In our juvenile fiction section upstairs, Tracey also has a nice collection of stories aimed at younger readers that feature Superman’s own “super pet” Krypto! It doesn’t matter to us if you fly here or leap in a single bound…or get your Mom or spoiled big sister to drive you, we just want you to stock up on these treasures for enjoyment back at your own “Fortress of Solitude.” Bringing these books home will make you a real hero to your own super readers!

Happy National Dog Day!

Celebrate Snoopy and the other dogs in your life today!
National Dog Day is celebrated August 26th annually and was founded in 2004 by Pet & Family Lifestyle Expert and Animal Advocate, Colleen Paige (also the founder of National Puppy Day, National Mutt Day and National Cat Day …to name a few).
National Dog Day serves to help galvanize the public to recognize the number of dogs that need to be rescued each year, and acknowledges family dogs and dogs that work selflessly each day to save lives, keep us safe and bring comfort. Dogs put their lives on the line every day – for their law enforcement partner, for their blind companion, for a child who is disabled, for our freedom and safety by detecting bombs and drugs and pulling victims of tragedy from wreckage.
