It is hard to catch a mouse. This is especially true about our library Minnie Mouse Miss Tracey. She never stays in one place for long. She is either gathering supplies for programs or preparing craft materials. She may be ordering new books and DVDs. Then again, she might be visiting a school or daycare or conducting one of her popular programs for a delighted group of kids. She could be building excitement and constructing lasting friendships by holding a Lego Club meeting for area families. Once a month this busy mouse entertains older kids with a “Teen Tuesday” program. Of course at any other time, assuming there really is such a thing, she may be helping workers in other departments or waiting on patrons. How do you catch a mouse? You really can’t do so but you can come by the library and just look for happy and involved children who love the library because of the time and care she has invested in them. That’s the best way to find her!

Are you looking for something to read? Do you have an interest in history or literature? We have many books on those topics for sale in the Reference Department. We invite you to stop by and browse through these literary treasures. If you find something you’d like, just make a donation of any amount upstairs at the Circulation Desk and the books will be all yours! It’s like “Deal or No Deal” minus the suitcases. We actually have 25 beautiful models but they spend most of their time doing model stuff in the Miller Law Office.
